25 Explorers from Bristol Cabot District have been selected to go to Nepal in October 2023, along with 10 leaders. They will spend the next few months learning about Nepal – its geography, history, culture and people; the challenges facing one of the poorest nations on Earth; and how Scouting is helping to educate and develop young people with skills to make real differences in their local communities.

The Explorers will help plan and run the 4th Jungle Jamboree, the highlight of the trip. Some 250 Nepalese Scouts and their leaders will join us in Meghauli, in a beautiful setting alongside the Chitwan National Park, for this fun-packed activity camp.

The Explorers and their parents are aiming to raise more than £15,000 to cover the costs of the Jungle Jamboree – site preparation, accommodation, toilet and shower facilities, catering, security and activity equipment.
