Following the success of the 2014 Jungle Jamboree in Meghauli, Nepal, plans are underway for the 3^rd Jungle Jamboree in October, 2018.

This will be an amazing opportunity for Explorer Scouts and Young Leaders, at the time of the trip, to visit Nepal, camp in the jungle of the Chitwan National Park, and help plan and run the Jamboree with local Nepalese Young Leaders. Then, for relaxation, travel to the Annapurna Mountain Range, view some of the highest peaks in the world, and take part in either a mountain hiking or river rafting expedition, depending on preference.

We would like to give a short 20-minute presentation to each Scout Troop and Explorer Unit between now and the end of term. Scouts and Explorers, who may be interested in going, will then be asked to register their interest online for a parent/young person briefing evening that will take place after Easter, at which full details of the trip will be given.
